Building & Safety Inspections

The inspection schedule contained herein provides an estimated time frame for an inspector’s arrival at the subject property address. The inspection schedule is subject to change at any time. The City of Cerritos reserves the right to revise the inspection schedule based upon extenuating circumstances, including but not limited to, the availability of staff resources, weather conditions, and/or public safety-related inspections.

Scheduling a Building & Safety Inspection

To schedule a Building & Safety inspection, please call the Building & Safety Services Division at (562) 916-1209 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

When requesting a Building & Safety inspection, please be ready to provide the following information:

• Name and phone number of the contact person for the inspection
• Project address
• Permit number
• Type of inspection requested

Inspection requests are accepted up until 5 p.m. the day before. Same-day requests are unable to be accommodated.
