The City’s General Municipal Elections are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of March of odd-numbered years, pursuant to City Ordinance No. 1042. The next Cerritos General Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Voter Registration

Voter registration is available through the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk or by calling (800) 815-2666. Voter registration forms are also available for pickup Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (weekends and holidays excepted) from the Office of the City Clerk, 1st Floor, 18125 Bloomfield Avenue, Cerritos, CA 90703.

Full copies of Cerritos campaign disclosures (without redaction) are available in the Office of the City Clerk, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Statements filed for deadlines prior to January 1, 2021 are also available in the Office of the City Clerk subject to the City’s adopted records retention schedule.
