Property Preservation Commission

The Property Preservation Commission (PPC) consists of five members appointed by the City Council.

The PPC considers matters related to the maintenance and appearance of property. The PPC holds public hearings to determine if a property is in violation of the City's property maintenance code and to consider residents' requests to remove parkway trees. The PPC serves as an advisory body to the City Council when establishing health and safety policies related to property maintenance.

Regular PPC meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month, excluding December, in the City Council Chamber.

For additional meeting information, please check the City's agenda page or contact the Community Safety Services Division at (562) 916-1266.
