Fine Arts and Historical Commission

The Fine Arts and Historical Commission (FAHC) consists of five members appointed by the City Council.

The FAHC assists the City Council in administering the Art in Public Places Program, which has among its goals, "creating a cultural legacy for future generations through the collection and exhibition of high-quality art pieces that reflect diverse styles, chronicling history through the collection of artifacts, documents, and memorabilia that will acknowledge the past, and creating programs and activities that will further these goals."

Regular FAHC meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each odd-numbered month, in the City Council Chamber.

For additional meeting information, please check the City's agenda page or contact the Office of the City Manager at (562) 916-1311.
